Aspen in Color

Aspen in Color presents a view of Aspen and the surrounding Rocky Mountains through a collection of color photographs by local photographers, depicting one of America's most popular resorts and its setting in a dramatic natural landscape. This coffeetable book combines the images of nature from the Aspen area with photographs of the town of Aspen, characterizing nature in its many moods, and chronicling the activities of the city's residents and visitors. The photographs are arranged by the four seasons of the year. Accompanying text is by Aspen Times writer Paul Andersen.

Butch's Lobster Bar

Butch's Lobster Bar has been a Snowmass Favorite since it started in 1992. It is truly an authentic East Coast Seafood Restaurant, with over fifty items on the menu. Butch Darden, the owner, is a former lobsterman from Cape Cod.

Cache Cache

Guest favorites include Ossobucco in Marsala Sauce, Grilled Tenderloin of Pork, Colorado Rack of Lamb and Vegetarian entrees such as Couscous with Harissa Sauce. Lanter's non-piercing rotisserie is gaining raves for offerings of Crispy Duck and Volaille du jour. An extensive wine list complements Lanter's creations. With soft lighting, gentle hues of cream and ochre, leather banquettes, and beveled mirrors, Owners Rick Hession and Jodi Larner have recreated the feel of a truly French bistro.
